Effective August 31, 2009, the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco will be offering Traffic Night Court two nights a week, instead of five nights a week. Hearings may be scheduled at 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. on Mondays or Tuesdays. Traffic night court is limited to hearings such as first appearances, warrant protests, and motions. Any cases already calendared for hearing after August 31, 2009 that are scheduled for night court Wednesday through Friday will be re-scheduled and the parties noticed of a new hearing date.
